Scuba Scotty works with many
partners (including but not limited to Incredible Adventures,
Undersea Expeditions, Truth Aquatics, Barnacle Busters, The
Aggressor Fleet, Pinnacles Dive Center, and PADI), to bring you
the most compelling inventory of dive destinations and dive
training opportunities.
The Channel Islands
Separated from the mainland throughout recent geological
history, the Channel Islands are part of one of the
richest marine biospheres in the world.

Hunt
Grab 'em, bag 'em, bring 'em on up. The galley staff
will happily prepare your fresh feast. You can also
bring them back home for later.
Please note: No
spears will be used. Just a measuring gauge (to maintain
ecosystem balance) and a net. Like any activity, lobster
hunting has a learning curve. Luckily, we will be
sharing the boat with some experienced "bug hunters",
who have offered to share some tips and tricks. In the
meantime, this is a
great article on the subject.
Channel Islands 3-Day
Outer Island
Live Aboard
December 16, 17, 18, 2011
We''ll board the vessel at the Santa Barbara harbor
on Thursday night, set up gear, grab a bunk,
and wake to an island sunrise and the smell of
bacon. Then it's dive - dive - dive for three full
days.
Meals, air fills, buddy pairing, lobster hunting
gear, and license included. Tanks, instruction, and
gear are separate. Sorry, no refunds.

Project Aware. We be protecting the ocean, one dive
at a time.
The Island - San Nicolas
If you're like most divers, there's one island in the
Channel Islands that you've never had a chance to dive - San
Nicolas, which is a shame, because San Nic offers some of
the best diving available out of Santa Barbara, and some of
the best lobster hunting grounds in Southern California!
Originally made famous by
the Lone Woman of San Nicolas Island, San Nic boasts an
equal amount of interest underwater. Located in the
transition zone between the chilly waters of the Northern
Islands and the tropical waters of Catalina and Clemente,
San Nic offers the best of both worlds: lingcod swim along
the same reefs that hold trophy size spiny lobster, all
presided over by giant black sea bass. Diving San Nicolas is
a once a year opportunity, don't miss your chance to
experience this rarely visited gem of the Channel Island
chain!
With numerous
amenities and comforts, including a fresh water maker,
spacious bunkroom, and increased fuel capacity, the Vision
is ideal for long range or extended stay trips.
Length: 80'
46 diver capacity (this is a limited load trip - 25
max!)
13 double bunks, 20 single bunks
Open berthing with pillows, blankets, curtains, and reading
lights. Dressing room located in bunkroom.

The Kona Aggressor,
Hawaii's Big Island liveaboard charter, dives many
sites out of the range of the land-based operators,
meaning we'll often have the ocean to ourselves.
With warm, clear water and very little current, this
is a great choice for new divers or a first-time
liveaboard. The all-inclusive price is an excellent
value for otherwise expensive Hawai'i.
We can arrange a stay on
one of the other magical islands of Hawai'i or take
a helicopter ride to view the active Kilauea
volcano. We've limited the number of guests on this
private charter to just 12 divers, so contact us
today to reserve your space.
Regularly $2,385

February 11-19, 2012
Visit fascinating
Vietnam on this fully escorted tour. Vietnam has had
a long love affair with the mythical dragon, and

year of the dragon.

which is sold out.
It's SCUBA gone wild!
spring break at CoCo View Resort on Roatan, a
beautiful island off the Caribbean coast of
Honduras. Whale shark migrations, tremendous
biodiversity, and crystal clear waters, this is the
go-to destination for marine life enthusiasts. There
is unlimited shore diving on the house reef and
extra dive drop-offs on the way back from our boat
dives, so it's easy to dive four or more times a day
here. Bring a dive computer. Air-conditioned
accommodations and breakfast, lunch, and dinner are
included.
Overwater Cabana $1,499 per person,
double occupancy
Oceanfront Room $1449 per person,

like a scuba summer camp. Evenings and after diving,
divers congregate around the bar and get to know
each other, or hang out at the dock and hammocks.
Roatan's diving is
easy and known for lots of sponges and coral,
interesting wrecks, and exciting swim-throughs to
the coral wall. We are happy to match you with a
