PADI Open Water Foundation Skills

10-12 hours of independent study
plus two evenings of classroom, and one day in the pool at Pinnacles Dive Center in Novato.

Expect to purchase a mask, snorkel, and fins. We'll break them in on your pool session.

PADI Open Water Certification
Local:
Add two days in the ocean (Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary), and you're a full-fledged SCUBA diver, able to rent SCUBA tanks and dive independently with a buddy, anywhere in the world.

$150 per person plus rental gear (and boat seats if applicable)

Warm Water Option:
I've worked with most dive operators on the Big Island of Hawaii, which is just a flight away. Custom itineraries available.
 

Scuba Tune-Up $200
If it's been over six months since you've been in the water, you'll want to refresh your skills and equipment knowledge to maximize safety and enjoyment of your next dives. Course consists of a quick knowledge review and one day in the pool (Novato). Gear Not Included.
 
PADI Open Water Referral Dives, 2-day class, $350
If you've completed your pool and classroom sessions in another location,
bring your signed log book and and complete FOUR ocean check out dives with me in Monterey. Rental gear and (optional) boat seats not included.
 
Advanced Open Water Certification, 2-day class, $350 plus boat seats
This is when it starts getting real fun. One day of shore diving, one day of boat diving, the Monterey AOW class is a fantastic way to get the most out of the sport. Five adventure dives with a Pro: Deep, Night, Boat, Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy. Gear and boat seats not included.
